We’ve been back in Europe for 4 days and it seems like we came back right in time for another storm. We started off with 2 perfect days with flawless snow and amazing weather.
We took a day off on Sunday because the Americans were coming to train with us Monday to Wednesday before heading to Limone on Thursday. Well, turns out we should have taken advantage of the good conditions while they lasted. In the past 36 hours it has snowed over 40 cm in the valley, and almost double on the mountain. So, training yesterday was cancelled, and as I’m writing, (and the snow still falling) we’re waiting to make today’s attempt in a couple of hours. But this is what it looks like outside our window…
