California!

Its been about a week since we got home from California. We were so lucky with the weather…Sun everyday but one. We spent most of our time in Laguna beach staying with my friend Lauren and her boyfriend Evan. Bive surfed almost every morning, but I mostly found excuses to why i should stay on the beach instead…I like to call myself a sunshine surfer. i often find myself saying, “its too cold, or…too windy, too many people, waves are too big.” I did go one day though. It went ok, but because i only surf a couple of days a year, it feels like starting from scratch every time. But its fun. Its just hard to find good small waves. Besides the beach and surfing, we spent a lot of time with my friends. We had a dinner party one night with Erin and Chris and Jamina and her family.

Surprisingly though, it was so nice to come home. We love traveling but this time we actually were really ready to come home. For the past week, we’ve been getting the boat ready to get it in the water, spending time with friends, and for the past two days we’ve had our annual physical tests for the olympic committe. Today my abs are so sore i literally cant use them to get myself out of bed. I roll over on my side and use my arms from there. Im not kidding

Its raining here today, but its actually quite nice. A perfect day for doing stuff at home, which watching The Search for the Next Pussycat Dolls all day marathon. Love it.
